More than 100 participants attended the ASME Christmas Party cum Networking Session, held on 15 December 2009 at The Pod, National Library Building. This regularly organised networking session aims to help business professionals socialise and update themselves on the latest happenings in the business world.

Partnering with School of Management, Ms Han Ping Ping, Manager of RecruitStrategy, spoke on how organisations could capture the cream of the crop. She shared that in order to do so, companies had to be aware of the current and revised HR trends.

The second speaker of the evening was Mr Joseph Dawes, info-consultant with EnterpriseOne Business Information Services (EBIS) shared with the audience about some of the key products and services that EBIS offers to local SMEs.

The highlight of the evening was the lucky draw that saw one very lucky winner walking away with a pair of economy tickets to Bali, sponsored by Qatar Airways. Two other winners received a one night hotel stay, sponsored by Sheraton Towers, and a pair of Singapore Flyer tickets sponsored by Chan Brothers, respectively.

The participants had a relaxing evening, chilling out and enjoying the festive season.
