ASME recognises the urgent need for SME-specific products, services and government-linked assistance schemes to be made readily available for local small and medium enterprises.
With the support of SPRING Singapore, ASME has set up Singapore’s first Enterprise Development Centre or EDC@ASME – a holistic advisory centre for aspiring entrepreneurs and current SME owners to gain immediate access to a wide range of expert business consultancy products and services along with information on government assistance schemes, grants and programmes to initiate or further develop their businesses.
The EDC@ASME has been upgraded to become the SME Centre @ ASME to provide a more holistic and comprehensive business advisory and assistance services.
Individuals and companies can benefit from business advisory services at no charge. Affordable SME-specific products and services are also available under extended levels of consultancy.
SME Centre @ ASME is committed to providing entrepreneurs and companies with:

SMECentre@NorthEast aims to assist small businesses in the North East District to upgrade by making it more convenient for them to seek help, including access to government assistance schemes. The services provided will be more targeted and designed for the smaller SMEs.
The SMECentre@NorthEast, located at the NECDC's Tampines headquarters, is open from Monday to Friday, except on public holidays, from 1pm to 5pm. There will be two business advisors, who will attend to both pre-arranged appointments and walk-in requests of SME owners and entrepreneurs in the North East District.
For SMEs who are unable to meet for consultations in the day due to work commitments, the business advisors will be available from 7pm to 9.30pm at five selected Community Centres from Tampines GRC, Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC and Aljunied GRC. Business advisory at the Community Centres are by appointment only. The SMECentre@NorthEast aims to reach more than 700 SMEs annually.
