THE MISSION
Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (ASME) and China International Auto Parts Expo Secretariat, with the support of IE Singapore, is organising a Business Mission to China Beijing from 24 to 28 September 2010, in conjunction with the visit to the 4th China International Auto Parts Expo (CIAPE). The main purpose of the mission is to explore China’s many business opportunities in the automotive industries for Singapore companies.

Briefings by local government officials, business networking and matching sessions, site visits to local companies and other business programmes will be specially arranged for you.

THE 4th CIAPE
To promote communication and cooperation in the international automotive industry as well as to strengthen selfinnovation abilities of automobile and auto parts enterprises and to upgrade their  international competitiveness, Ministry of Commerce of P.R. China decided to hold the China International Auto Parts Expo annually.

Facing the global financial crisis, the Chinese government released the new stimulus package for automotive readjustment and advancement with the following eight measures: cultivating auto consuming market, promoting auto industry reshuffle, supporting self innovation and technical improvement, conducting new energy strategy, backing up domestic brand, carrying out the strategy of auto products export and developing modern auto services.

As an important platform for the communication and cooperation in the international automotive industry, CIAPE will promote China's auto parts industry to participate in global competition and cooperation and optimise the supply chains. This will play a positive role in the development of the world’s automotive industry.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
ASME has obtained approval from IE Singapore for the mission to be covered under the IMAP (International Marketing Activities Programme).

Reimbursement under IMAP Incentive Scheme*:
- Up to 50% on economy airfare and common costs for only one employee per participating eligible company.
- Company employee must not be enjoying Double Tax Deduction (DTD) incentive for this same activity.
