Objectives
· To equip 20 selected SMEs* with the necessary know-how to incorporate innovation to grow their business · To upgrade the management capabilities of these companies Criteria
· Annual turnover > $10m or > $5m but registering growth above industry average · Company must be hungry for growth · Meet SME definition but larger companies may also be considered Programme Details · Selected SMEs will send CEO/MD or a senior management staff to attend a 5-day intensive course conducted by Professor Desai Arcot, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at SMU. The course dates have been firmed up: 12-13 March, 19 March and 26-27 March 2010. There will be 22 scholars from Lee Kong Chian Business School attending the course too. · Upon completion of course, a scholar will be sent to the selected SME for a 3-4 month internship and will act as the Innovation Catalyst for that company. · The methodology and the Catalyst can make that difference to your company’s growth path. · This programme is offered exclusively only to ASME.
